The Place

Humber Valley Resort has built a reputation for the high quality levels of its accommodations. Currently over 150 self-contained three to five bedroom uniquely configured chalets are available for rent. Strawberry Hill Resort also features eight individually appointed three bed chalets and The Manor House at Strawberry Hill accommodates six, one bedroom suites. Every chalet is designed to make the most of the spectacular views, with vaulted ceilings, large windows to create light-filled interior spaces, and extensive balconies. Ranging in size from over 185 - 660m2 (2,000 - 7,100 ft2), the luxurious timber-framed chalets are complete with generous modern kitchens, spacious living and dining areas, sizeable bedrooms mostly with en-suite bathrooms.

The Plan

Newfound's first resort is Humber Valley in Newfoundland, an area of Canada recently being discovered by sophisticated international travelers in search of one of the world's best adventure playgrounds. It is an all-season, luxury resort offering golf, spa, sailing, skiing, world-class fishing and more.With approximately 400 homes sold since 2002 and infrastructure in place like championship golf, spa treatments and five-course dining all accessed by a private bridge, we have built the ingredients to deliver all the pieces of a complete luxury retreat.Five hours from London and two direct flights a week, two hours from New York with the direct flights soon to come. It is unimaginable how close this secret paradise is, and with only 12 bespoke properties offered for sale in 2007 and a limited supply, we feel good about preserving the experience of true luxury at Humber Valley for the generations that will follow us.

The Property

The Legacy Collection at Humber Valley, launched in summer 2007, is made up of 12 very special lots. Three acres lakeside with a private beach for your bonfires. Eight acres 700 feet high overlooking the valley, two acres sitting riverside of some of the world's best fly fishing pool; truly a hidden resort within a resort. We offer some home design concepts presented by Frank Filskow of MAKE Architects in London, and we encourage the ideas that present themselves from our owners as they stand in the place they will create their dream retreat home.Each year Humber Valley will offer a limited number of bespoke architect designed homes on lots of varying acreages. >The Designs
